Time difference
On our way to and from Russia, we will travel through Amsterdam, which is six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST). That means our flight is eight hours long and will land in Amsterdam at 1:20 a.m. EST on Tuesday. Ha ... that should be fun times! We then get to hang out at the Amsterdam airport for five hours until our flight leaves for Russia at 6:40 a.m. EST on Tuesday. So that means we will be sitting in an airport while our bodies are used to being snuggled in bed. Wanna join us? Russia is eight hours ahead of EST and after a three hour flight, we will land there at 9:30 a.m. EST {which is 5:30 p.m. Russia time}. I wonder how long it will take for our bodies to get adjusted? Probably about as long as we are there ... sigh. We have a little clock to the right to let you know what time it is in Russia while we are there. :)
